RN Massage is a growing practice located in Cuyahoga Falls, and is seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented Licensed Massage Therapist. Our massage therapists are held to a high standard of professionalism, as a significant part of our client base are insurance referrals requiring the skill to treat specific musculoskeletal issues, timely documentation (SOAP notes), and strong verbal communication skills. As a part of our team, we will credential you to become a medical provider for the Veterans Administration, Summa Care, and Workers Compensation. We have a successful marketing strategy that brings in a steady stream of new clients.

The owner is a massage therapist, and strives to have a work environment that is supportive, positive, structured, fairly compensated, all with a manageable client load. We want you to enjoy coming to work, and be a part of our team for many years to come.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Be on time for your scheduled time (10-20 hours /week).
Provide professional quality massages in 30/45/60/90 minute increments. (120 minutes optional).
Listen to client needs, and provide a custom session.
Encourage clients to continue massages on regular basis.
Between clients; maintain cleanliness of treatment room, and common areas; stock linen; refill lotion(s); miscellaneous tasks.
Willing to be trained in lymph drainage and specialty massages.
Complete SOAP notes for each treatment (very user friendly format).
Checkout client by processing payment and rescheduling, if needed (many clients take care of this themselves online).
Follow cancellation policy procedures.

Supplies: All are provided; sheets, lubricants, tools, etc. Our LMTs do not do laundry as we have a laundry service.

Pay Plan: Pay Plan: The employee position. $12/ hour, plus 20% of service and add-ons, plus tips. Example: 15 hours and 8 standard massages equal $346 plus tips for the week.
The Independent Contractor (IC) position pays 47% of service cost plus tips. Our most popular massage is $95/hour, so LMT makes $44.65. Insurance clients are paid as a flat rate $35 - $55 per hour.

Healthcare: ACA plans available. Monthly cost starts at $250 for single 30 year old, and $0 for 30 year old with two dependents. 

Schedule: Current needs are: Tuesdays and Saturdays (2 to 4 per month). Eventually Wednesdays will be available.
Our scheduling system automatically provides 15 minutes between clients.

Training: Paid training in our signature massage, specific therapeutic massage, and lymph drainage, along with practice software and protocol. If needed, also in cupping, hot stones, bamboo, etc.
